Hopper Newsletter #5
10/11/2010
From Susan
Great class last week! I am late getting this note out. It has been quite a week...and it is not even the full moon yet.
Don’t worry if you think you are not remembering the calls. I will re-teach them for two or three weeks at the very least. There will be lots of repetitions. Some calls will come easily to you. Some calls will be more challenging. What is easy for you may be hard for someone else. Be patient with yourself and the other dancers!
Some of you have let me or the Deals know that you will be gone a night here and there. No worries! You will be getting the weekly email so you will know what you have missed. I would strongly urge you to come early, if at all possible, the week you are back so we can at least walk through the moves before class. I am usually set up and ready to go by 6:45 or so (depending on traffic).
It is also the beginning of cold and flu season. Square dancing is a contact sport with lots of touching of hands. Please wash your hands frequently. The club has provided in several bottles of antibacterial hand sanitizer. It is for your use. Please use it!
Last week I shared with you a couple of web sites with square dance moves. This will I will give you my web site. The weekly newsletters are under the Hopper's New Dancer tab. There is also a calendar that includes where I am calling and all the Student Level Dances.
