Dear Friends,
Good class last week! Great dancing by everyone!
This week is graduation. Plans for a party are a foot! Come celebrate!
After graduation you will be Mainstream dancers. You can go to any advertised Mainstream dance in the world. Square dancing is like any art, however, you need to practice it as often as you can. The easiest way is to belong to a club.
I would encourage you to join the Samena Squares. Being a member of a club gives you a regular place to dance. An added benefit is that you can come back next fall to be a class angel.
The Samena Squares dance on the second and fourth Fridays, September to June. There are a few changes to that schedule due to holidays and dance weekends. I teach lessons and call some of the club dances. There are a variety of guest callers calling the other dances.
There is a dance this Friday, March 9. The theme is Pot Of Gold. Roger Spiese will be calling. His wife, Jill, will be cueing.
Also, don’t forget that there will be workshops starting next week, March 15, same time as we have been meeting for class.
See you tomorrow night!
Happy dancing,
Susan
