Happy Hoppers Newsletter #14
12/12/2011
From Steve and Susan:
What a fun night with all of those cookies! I hope that you got some to take home. Larry and I are enjoying the meringues made by Jean and some unknown baker. Thank you!
We missed you again, Steve, and hope you are feeling better by today. Some of you ladies were missed too. We hope it was the busyness of the season and not illness that kept you away. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
Take advantage of all the opportunities to dance during our holiday break. (See Newsletter #12 for the list.) Don’t forget to add the First Friday Fun Fest on Friday, January 6 at the Hayloft.
Our next class will be Monday, January 9. (Yes, that’s one month) Counting that night there are six classes left. Can you believe it! It will be important to be at all of them. As I said Monday night, you have been dancing moves like “Circle Left” or “Lead Right” for 14 weeks. You have had lots of practice. The moves we will be learning in January won’t get that much practice before the end of class. It will be important to learn them and then dance them as much as possible.
Review the definitions and videos of what we have learned so far at home before our next class. We will have lots of dance review in class January 9 and then will jump into learning the new calls.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in a square along the way!
Merry Christmas!
Susan and Larry and Steve
